Saatzucht Breun breeds 2- and 6-row winter barley. In the past the company has been very successful with 2-row malting types like Regina and Vanessa. Today, Saatzucht Breun also breeds two-row and multi-row feed barley for the European market. New high-performance varieties from these programs are, for example, VALERIE, which has been successfully introduced in various European countries, and AMANDINE in France. In addition, there is the new multi-row variety WINNIE.
